This bunny loves her NRL, and obtained her nickname by following the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Watching the Rabbits true to their name bouncing on the field and making breaks, with the fans across Australia screaming both in the stands and at the TVs. How fun would creating a NRL campaign be, for the league or even the well known State Of Origin. But first this bunny's origins.
A common question I get asked is why the Rabbitohs? And the history of that is weird, complicated and special. Its known in the Burrow that one doesn't choose to be a Bunny but simply comes to be. They chooses you. I was born and raised in Cairns, where its sunny 8 months, cyclone season for 4 months and HOT 24/7. And known Cowboy Territory. I was helping my poppy with his first laptop, and the magic of the USB, and my nanny was screaming at the TV behind us at the Cowboy vs Rabbitohs' game. Not knowing much of the NRL game I started going for the Rabbitohs, I dont remember who won that game, but the next day my poppy got me my first South Sydney Rabbitohs shirt. They choose you.
I learnt the game, the players and the atmosphere of the football game. Last friday night was the Broncos vs Rabbitohs game, attending the game with my advertising (95% complete) degree, I saw more than one normally does. Who attends these games??? Who would you have to advertise an NRL campaign to??? The insight I came to was "Sibling Rivalry". Brothers that go for different teams, boyfriends and girlfriends, little kids and whole families.
"Its Back! (short game clip) The game that splits marriages (picture of a couple in wedding attire back to back with their team scarfs, in the middle of the football field) (Clip of those two teams playing). Divides friends (group of friends eyeing each other off, in the middle of the football field) (Clip of those two teams playing). And is the creation of sibling rivalry (two young kids in different full supporter gear with rope holding them off each other, in the middle of the football field) (Clip of those two teams playing). Because we all know winning is everything (slow clip of one team member breaking away to score. At the word everything the crowd goes off and quick clips of a variety of teams scoring and fans screaming"
Its not much but its a TVC that this bunny loves.
